The streets of Patong are full of tourists, mostly Russian, but it is beautiful and we can see why the tourists flock here.

Bus so crowded:view of Karl through the armpits |
|
The bus was soon very crowded as anticipated so we were glad
we had got on at the first stop. I counted
47 people on a very small bus with two or three of them hanging off the
back. Safety standards are over ridden
by necessity. It was a relief to get off
the bus and find “One Tooth” waiting for us to drive us back to Panwa.

Sausage selection for dinner. |
|
And so another day of adventure draws to a close. The sausage selection process takes great choosing as there are about 20 varieties. My favourite ones are the pastry wrapped quail eggs and Luke likes the cheesy ones and crab sticks. The others try all of them. The reassuring thing about eating from this food cart is that we haven't got sick yet AND the sausages are deep fried in sizzling oil which we hope will kill any bugs AND many locals also buy from this lady.
